This is the Behringer Eurodesk SX2442 24 channel mixer. So there are the Behringer sceptics out there but I tell you for affordable gear it's better than 'just fine' and we've had great run out of the Behringer equipment we've had. Been I regional country band playing in shearing sheds and what not it cops a fair floggin and it still goes well even with the legs of the odd Christmas beetle stuck in the fader controls. It's great for live performances and great in the studio to as it has 4 Sub group controls meaning that you can point the out signal to your audio interface, headphone amplifiers or monitors as needed. This makes it easy to play a whole lot of instruments together but also have the ability to record only the instruments you select into the Subgroups. It has two built in effects buses. When we play live we use one effect bus for vocal reverb and the the other for vocal compression.
